Our equipment plays a vital role in our continued excellence in dentistry. Technology today has integrated computers with dentistry to achieve grater patient comfort, time management, early diagnostic screening and patient education. Our commitment to our patients care ensures we are up to date with the latest in technology and techniques.

Air Abrasion
In dentistry, micro-abrasion involves removing tooth decay without using local anesthesia or drilling. Used for shallow cavities, such as surface decay, this treatment is both quick and pain-free. It is one of the methods of choice for filling children’s cavities and quickly stopping a cavity from spreading early on without causing major damage to the affected enamel.

Cerec – CAD CAM Technology
CEREC is the world’s only system for the fabrication of all ceramic dental restorations in one office visit. With CEREC at our side, you can be in and out in a single visit with a permanent, all ceramic crown, inlay, onlay, or veneer! For our patients, this means fewer injections, less drilling, and less time out of your hectic schedule for dental care.

A CEREC tooth restoration isn’t just convenient, it is also healthy. Many years ago, dentists had few options to repair decayed and damaged teeth other than amalgam, gold and other metals. With CEREC, we can use strong, tooth colored ceramic materials to restore your teeth to their natural strength, beauty and function. These materials closely match the composition of natural tooth structure. Also, the materials are chemically bonded to your tooth, so your dentist can save as much healthy tooth tissue as possible while providing you with a dental restoration that strengthens your mouth.

Diagnodent – Laser Caries Detector
A Diagnodent uses laser technology to detect and quantify hidden or sub-surface caries by measuring laser fluorescence within the tooth structure.

The device operates at a wavelength of 655 nm. At this specific wavelength, clean healthy tooth structure exhibits little or no fluorescence, resulting in very low scale readings on the display. Altered tooth substances and bacteria, including caries, will fluoresce. The Diagnodent will react with elevated scale readings on the display.

The Diagnodent is an extremely accurate, reliable and non-invasive method to aid in caries detection. The device has been awarded the Seal of Acceptance by the American Dental Association, is successfully used by more than 18,000 dental professionals in the United States and is integrated into the curriculum by a growing number of dental schools.

Digital X-Rays
Digital radiography has many advantages over film radiography. Although exposure reduction and elimination of chemical processing are most often cited, additional benefits include the ease of image capture, viewing, storage and duplication as well as electronic image transfer for referral or insurance purposes. Digital images can be enhanced and enlarged which facilitate patient education and improve understanding of treatment recommendations.

Get necessary care without unnecessary radiation. X-rays play an invaluable role in the diagnosis of dental problems. But many people are concerned about the exposure to x-ray radiation. Our digital x-ray system eliminates these worries because it requires 90% less radiation than conventional film x-rays.

No harmful waste. Our digital system uses no film or chemicals, so we don't have to worry about disposing of hazardous processing waste, better for the environment.

As accurate as conventional x-rays -- and reveals things film can't. The digital image can be magnified 300x its normal size to enhance diagnosis, manipulate to correct contrast, and color-adjusted to reveal hidden problems.

Hoya Con Bio Laser
The idea of using lasers for hard tissue dentistry has instant appeal for patients and dentists: no drill, shots, vibration, or unpleasant sound.

Dental lasers are used for a variety of treatment procedures. Your dentist knows which types of patient care are more patient friendly with a laser than with alternative traditional methods. The dentists using lasers have devoted training time and expense to be able to bring you the many advantages of this exciting new technology.

Lasers do not make whining sounds or other annoying noises. You may experience the sound of a rush of air, since air suction is often used to keep the area cool and cleaner. You should be able to relax and be comfortable while the dental laser is in use.

Intra Oral Camera
Intra oral video imaging involves the use of a small camera with a fiber optic light source small enough to be placed within the mouth. This camera is attached to a computer, which allows the images of your teeth to be displayed on the computer monitor. These intra oral images can then be stored by the computer or printed out just like a photograph.

One of the nice things about computers is their ability to store these images in their memory indefinitely. We can access these images whenever we want, in order to compare one photograph with another. At the same time, the computer allows us to send copies of these images to other dentists or physicians, thereby improving our ability to consult on issues that may be of strategic importance. A picture is truly worth a thousand words.

Some conditions we can see better with intra oral cameras that are difficult to see with the naked eye include: various types of oral pathology and lesions, broken fillings, cracked teeth, a variety of gum conditions, and cavities in areas that are difficult to see and reach. You will be amazed by the quality of the images.

Another intriguing aspect of imaging is its ability to use the computer to predict cosmetic alterations without ever actually having to touch a tooth. Close a space, change the shape of a tooth or just see what your teeth would look like a shade whiter. Cosmetic Imaging makes it all possible!
